We'd like to introduce you to the newest member of the Walking Corpse Syndrome family: Ryan Kevlar. If you've seen Walking Corpse Syndrome play live since July, you'll have seen Ryan rocking the keys and picking up a second guitar. But he's been a part of the family a lot longer than that.
The band first met Ryan back in July 2009 on Missoula, Billings, Casper mini-tour. A few months later, when we lost a merch person a day before playing a show in Grand Ronde Oregon, we gave Ryan a desperate call. He packed his bags (and a gorilla mask), hopped in the van, and rode 1300 miles in 3 days with us. Since then he's helped roadie, run sound, and sell more merch for us.
When Meredeath left the band, Ryan was the first one to jump up and take on a new instrument. When Matthew Bile left on tour, Ryan played guitar with us to keep our chops fresh. He's already helped write half of our new songs, helping take them in a bold, new direction. He now seamlessly switches between keys and guitar. We know that you'll dig Ryan as much as we do. So, take a moment, leave a comment, and welcome him into the fold.
