Walking Corpse Syndrome is a gothic metal band from Missoula Montana. The six members include Michael Phlegm (vocals), Matthew Bile (guitar), Prof. William Sludge (bass/violin), Meredeath LaChryma (keys), Nocktis (drums), and Mr. Grimm (drums).

Formed in January 2007, Walking Corpse Syndrome quickly embraced a non-traditional lineup by using keyboards, violin, and two full drum sets. Their debut album, Forsaken, was recorded and mixed over the course of five days at Habbilis Studios in Missoula. Extensive touring of the U.S. Northwest and Northern Rockies followed. The band attracted a strong following by playing intense live shows with dark energetic metal.

The sophomore album, Narcissist, was written in three weeks and recorded in 8 days at Buzz Studios in Missoula. Mixed by Matthew Bile, the album will be released on March 20, 2010 to be followed by a regional blitz of touring.
